Bedrooms:
This historic rental villa is large enough with 5 bedrooms to provide vacation accommodation for up to 13 people comfortably, with additional capacity if needed.All bedrooms have a stunning view over the either the garden, lake or town. The king size master bedroom with its wrought iron bed has patio doors opening onto a terrace overlooking the lake and town.
Each bedroom has beautifully chosen quilted or tapestry bedspreads and antique furniture for that added luxury. The "blue room" has an antique French carved wooden double bed, as well as the beautiful view.
Robes, towels, and linens are provided during your stay, but please bring your own beach towels.
Clean linen and towels are changed on a regular basis; additional needs can be arranged for a nominal fee.

Dining Room:
The dining room has a beautiful large oak dining table, along with a solid wood antique French dresser giving the dining room a traditional feeling. The table can be extended for large parties-10 can be comfortably seated.Tablecloths, mats and tableware are available in the large dining sideboard. The dresser houses extra dishes, and board games.
The solid oak kitchen is fitted with appliances including fridge, electric oven, gas hob, microwave and dishwasher for all your self catering holiday culinary needs. There is also an additional American style fridge freezer in the alcove in the hallway.

Lounge:
The focal point of the lounge is an ornate, 14 feet high, solid granite working fireplace built in 1926 by Pierre Loirat. With stripped wooden floors, rugs and ornate ceiling, the lounge is cozy with plenty of seating areas and the real open fire, along with a colour TV and DVD/Video player and lots of DVDs and videos available to make your stay comfortable and entertaining. There is another TV/DVD upstairs in the family room. Feel free to use this portable in any room.The games room has a complimentary stocked bar, drinks fridge, stereo as well as a pool table for after dinner entertainment.
Logs and firelighters are provided for your enjoyment of a real fire in a spectacular surround.
The second floor spacious landing has a reading area, sofa bed and old war chest with children's toys.

Bathrooms:
Complimentary shower and bath gels and toiletries from Gilchrist and Soames are provided to help you relax the moment you arrive. Relax in the main family bathroom with its luxury fittings, vanity unit with marble top, insert sink, heated towel rail and illuminated mirror above.
Chill out in the bath with a glass of wine while enjoying the stunning view over the forest. A large seating area makes family bath times easier.
The large shower room on the top floor has a luxury, jet spray shower cubicle with different settings including back and feet massage, overhead shower, interior lights and even a radio. There are two mirrors, with plenty of space for a family to get ready together.
There is a hairdryer provided for you in this room along with another in the master bedroom.

Grounds:
Our grounds provide plenty of space for children of all ages to run around and explore, our large private garden boasts hidden dens and secret passageways under camellia, azalea and rhododendron bushes.The grounds are equipped with a play-frame and we provide a football and net, table tennis, badminton net and racquets, boules and children's croquet.The extensive lawns are great for entertaining, family games or a barbecue.
A small peninsula in the middle of the lake houses a children's playground. Walk around the lake to the park with your children. A footpath from near the villa takes you along the lake to this park on the peninsula.
